I recently purchased the long sleeve t-shirt from the Stussy x Gasius collaboration, I've been admiring the work from Gasius for a while now. I love the over branding and the extra placement of logos, I feel this is a look not given by any other brand at the moment.
I picked up the 70's Converse from the sale at Hanon Shop, I feel these along with the Levis 501s give a relaxed and classic vibe. With just a little pop of white sock every now and then finishes off the fit nicely.
Mid season is here and that can only mean one thing, sales. I've picked what I think are some of the best items available from a selection of we stores.

Sorry for not posting for a couple of weeks, but I've been on holiday with my girlfriend. We started out our adventure in Gothenberg, where we visited one of my school friends. Next, we caught a train to Copenhagen, where we visited some of the best shops I've been to and had a great time at the Tivoli Theme Park. Our final stop was Berlin, where we spent a couple of days sightseeing, stuffing ourselves with sausage and drowning ourselves in beer.
The main reason I've made this post is to tell you about shopping in Copenhagen. I've wanted to visit Copenhagen for a while to see and feel for myself their unique shops.
My first stop was Soulland - this is a store I've only recently heard about. In store they stock Paul Smith, Fuct, Acne and many more, including their own brand. I felt very comfortable browsing around and all of the stock was to a very high quality. It was a shame they didn't have a couple of pieces in my size, but it is to be expected in stores like this. As you know, I am a big fan of Wigwam socks, but I thought I would try a new pair. So, I bought a Soulland pair in orange (you can see all my purchases below) and a mushroom pin badge from Goodworth &CO. With this purchase I received a much welcomed new tote bag with the Soulland bow logo on it.
My next stop, and most anticipated one, was the Norse Store. I've wanted to visit the Norse Store for a long time now and I was not disappointed. They had a huge selection of great brands and specialist products. I was also pleasantly surprised that they stocked Vice and Bitchslap Magazines. I purchased the Arnes Loomed Sweat shorts in deep teal, the Liberty Charter bucket hat and a pair of grey wool Norse Projects socks. (The image of the shorts below does not show them off well so I linked them here for you to see.)
My final stop was the WoodWood store, the only photo I managed to take was of the Clarks Originals - MF Doom Wallabees before my phone ran out of battery. Unfortunately, I couldn't justify spending £150 on these, however I'm glad I got see them in the flesh. This store was a bit larger than the other two and had a selection of womenswear and fragrances, which was a nice touch. I didn't buy anything from WoodWood in the end, but there was a vast selection of products available.
I would recommend visiting Gothenberg and Berlin to anyone and would especially recommend any of you fashion conscious people to visit Copenhagen if ever you get the chance.

Decade
2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of Dutch store Patta. Patta's unique approach to the streetwear scene is what has made them who they are today. Their passion of high quality products is the reason Patta have managed to create some of the most sought after collaborations with brand such as Nike, Converse and Asics. Discs
This is a concept I wish I had thought of myself, placing album covers into their appropriate places on Google's Street View. I'm afraid to say it though The Guardian's 'Street View Expert' beat me to it. These images take you through London, New York, California and others. With artists including Oasis (seen right), The Streets and Bob Dylan. Take a look here.
Dealers
This week Vice released an article detailing the lives of student drug dealers. The environment, the money and the prison sentence when it all goes wrong. It takes you to a university in the North of England and stories of having your back door broken down by pickaxes and being robbed by masked men.I wont spoil it for you, have a read yourself.
As you may already know, I've posted my closest and most useful possessions before, this is just a post to update you with what I currently have as my essential items. Firstly, I'll run you through my new additions then go back through what I had before.
1. Fjallraven - Kanken Backpack
I've written about my Kanken before but I feel like it will never be enough, this backpack is almost perfect for everyday use. It will fit just enough stuff inside it to last you, but not so big you end up carrying round unnecessary things. 2. COMME des GARÇONS - Wallet
You wont know the need of a nice wallet until you have one, this one from COMME des GARÇONS is perfect. It looks sleek and smart and is very functional. 3. Le Specs - Swizzle Sunglasses Although these may not be an all year item, I've included them in my essentials as they will be a must have item for me this summer. I love the subtle style these have and the matte copper seems to go with almost everything I'll be throwing on when the suns out. 4. Keychain On my keychain I have (obviously) my keys, a Goodworth Noose bottle opener and a Victorinox Mini Swiss Army Knife. It's always useful to keep a bottle opener, you never know when you might want/need a beer. The little tools on the Mini Swiss Army Knife come in even more useful than you would think. 5. Pinbadges I think that the things that make you who you are, are the details. These couple of pin badges give that little element of difference. these two come from The Goodhood Store and Gasius. 6. Clarks Originals - Wallabees
I'm still wearing these and they still go with almost every fit I have. They may seem a little more worn, but this just adds character. 7. Wigwam - Cypress Socks Always keeping with the rag wool look. 8. A.P.C. - Petit Standard Jeans
Still not washed this pair, the fades are starting to come in now. 9. The Goodhood Store - Tote Bag I'm now in dire need of a new tote bag but I haven't found one I like as much as this one, apart from maybe one from The Brokedown Palace 10. Still got music playing wherever I go. 12. Vaseline I may have been through a couple of tins since our last visit but I've still always got one on me.
This week, I'll be concentrating on Act With Love a creative art project by Joe Williams. My go to beer, Remedy, a pale ale formulated by Stephen Manderson (Professor Green) and Universal Works new English made "Workshop Denim".
AWL
Act With Love is a project which intends to expand peoples ideas of design and art, to use art for the right cause. No matter how small, if you Act With Love you will make an impact. It uses the view that design should not solely be used commercially, but to communicate further than other means.
A couple of weeks back I received my limited edition screen print of Frida Gustavsson, which included a personalised typography letter. The attention to detail and feeling that comes from each and every projects is phenomenal.
Recently AWL have put up a website to explain what it is all about and what projects are on the horizon, all money raised by AWL will be donated or used to expand and grow AWL. I am proud to support Joe and I'm certain that through his talent and passion many people will benefit.
ALE
"Refreshing and slightly bitter notes which characterise this beer and a late hopping give the strong almost 'green' aroma." this is how Signature Brew have described Professor Greens Remedy and if it was not already written, this is how I would describe it. Remedy is an american inspired British pale ale and I love the way that you can taste elements from British and US beers. There isn't much more I can say apart from that its available at most Morrisons stores or here.
Artisan Denim
Universal Works have a new venture, "Workshop Denim", premiering this Friday (April 4th). They're totally stripping back with this project, keeping it entirely produced in Europe, moving away from the big two, Japan and the USA. This collection consists of two pairs of jeans, slim and regular, and two jackets, a trucker and a chore. These products will be unbranded and unstamped on sleek simple 13oz denim, woven on vintage looms in Portugal; shiped over to England to be pieced together. See the denim from start to finish below.

Hotel
I'm a big fan of Wes Anderson and his newest film does not disappoint. With, as always, a carefully thought out star studded cast and great cinematography, Anderson kept me captivated and took me on a journey through the adventures of Zero Moustafa. For me this has ticked every box of a Wes Anderson epic. It has likeable, unique characters, well thought out costumes, making the extraordinary seeming every day and Bill Murray.
I don't want to give anything away; as I like going into a film without much, if any, prior knowledge of the plot. So here I give you the trailer for The Grand Budapest Hotel and a big recommendation for you to go and watch it.
Heights
I first discovered this song in October last year and I'm not sure how many times I've listened to it since. It's been on repeat and I can't see that stopping in the near future. I found it while listening to a Boiler Room set from The Two Bears.
Listen away, you wont be disappointed.
Holiday
This year my lovely girlfriend and I will be making our way over to a few cities in Europe. Last year we visited Marrakech (Morocco) for our Summer holiday. This holiday taught me some things. One, I don't enjoy the heat as much as I thought I did, I don't even tan. Two, lounging around by the pool is nice but it does get a bit tedious. Three, being pestered by locals whilst you do anything will soon drive you barmy.
This year we decided that we should go somewhere a little cooler, move around a little and a place we can immerse ourselves and adventure at our own pace. We will be making our way over to Gothenburg (Sweden), catching a train to Copenhagen (Denmark) and finally flying to Berlin (Germany). One of my friends is studying over in Gothenburg so we have an insider with us for that part of our journey. Copenhagen is a place that I've wanted to visit ever since I became interested in fashion, this will give me a chance to visit some of the best shops in the world and finally Berlin is a city of culture.
We will be jetting off in just over 4 weeks, I will let you know just how it was when we've returned.
